The new year is moving along quickly with lots of exciting events at Nayatt School. This week is Tech. Week for our students participating in the Arts Alive Production of the Wizard of Oz at Nayatt School. Please check the information below for detailed information or to see how you can volunteer or buy tickets. We are in need of volunteers to assist backstage this week. If you can help in anyway, please log on to MySchoolAnywhere and sign up under Tech. Week for areas of support. Thank you. This is important and valuable to our children during this busy week. We hope to see everyone this weekend at the performance. It is a special event for the entire Nayatt School Community. We have also started to share upcoming events such as Kindergarten Registration, STEAM Night, Fine Arts Night, the Nayatt 5K, and more. Please add these to your calendar. Thank you for your time and attention.

The Nayatt School students and staff continue to make great strides in the implementation of See Saw, a communication tool with families. I recently reviewed last week’s posts with students reading for their families, art work in Kindergarten, character traits in library, and more. These posts are a great way for families to come together and discuss student learning. Students can use the posts as a scaffold to discuss their academic learning and technology skills. It is quite amazing to see in action in the classroom. Our goal is to support reflection at both home and skills and to build this metacognitve skill in our children. Thanks for your continued interaction with See Saw.
Have a great week!
