Nayatt School Improvement Team Meeting-Wednesday-December 9th-6 PM-Zoom
Team Members-Lindsey Tavares, Michelle Slusarz, Melissa Coen, Sarah Gaines, Jody Tanzman, Nichole Collins, Nia Milman, Fran Taft, Catarina Anselmo and Tracey Learned.
Strategic Goals Focus-Family Engagement via communication and Social/Emotional Learning Supports.
The students have school on Monday, December 14th, the former state PD day.
Questions regarding updated CDC guidance on quarantine timelines:
Barrington Public Schools, in collaboration with our District Re-Entry Committee, continues to follow the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) guidance. At this time, RIDOH has not made any changes to quarantine expectations-RIDOH Playbook for Pre-K-12 Schools
Social/Emotional Supports for Students:
Nayatt uses the RULER Approach from The Center for Emotional Intelligence-Yale University.
Special Education Task Force Update:
Thanks to everyone who completed the survey.
Feedback was reviewed and themes identified.
